Position Overview
This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the President, with strong potential to grow into an Executive Officer position. The role is responsible for driving international and domestic growth across sales planning, product development, and marketing for a consumer goods portfolio including supplements and cosmetics.
The position plays a critical role in expanding business across Japan, Asia, and North America, while supporting the company’s long-term strategy to move beyond cross-border e-commerce toward localized manufacturing and sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Planning (Domestic & International)
Lead sales planning and execution across Japan, Asia (including Greater China and Southeast Asia), and North America
Support and manage sales promotion activities for local distributors and partners
Oversee sales performance tracking, forecasting, and numerical analysis by region, client, and product
Drive business development initiatives, including strategic alliances and partnerships
Promote and manage e-commerce initiatives
Lead initiatives related to TV shopping channels and other direct-to-consumer sales platforms
Product Planning and Development
Propose and refine go-to-market strategies for existing products
Plan and develop new products, primarily within supplements and cosmetics
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on product positioning and lifecycle planning
Marketing and Promotion
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify consumer needs and growth opportunities
Design effective sales strategies, messaging, and promotional concepts
Execute integrated marketing and promotional activities across multiple media and channels
Strengthen brand value and support sustainable revenue growth
Additional Responsibilities
Deliver product and service presentations to partners and clients
Prepare quotations and review commercial contract terms
Lead contract negotiations and execution with customers and partners
Develop overseas business strategies and share insights with executive leadership
Coordinate applications and administrative processes related to overseas trademarks and publications
Required Skills and Qualifications
Language Skills
Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English
Ability to communicate directly and effectively with executive leadership
Business-level Mandarin Chinese is a strong advantage
Professional Experience
Broad experience across sales planning, product planning, and marketing within consumer goods
Strong exposure to international business operations and overseas markets
Experience managing or coordinating cross-border sales initiatives preferred

Compensation and Employment Conditions
Full-time permanent position
Probation period: 3 months (no change in employment conditions)
Estimated annual compensation: JPY 7,000,000 – 10,000,000
Monthly salary structure
Working Hours
Standard working hours: 8 hours per day
Typical schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Core working hours: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Overtime may be required depending on business needs
