This role is responsible for providing on-site technical service, support, and problem resolution throughout the entire lifecycle of the company’s conveyor and industrial products. The successful candidate will be proactive, adaptable, customer-focused, and able to work independently with a high level of professionalism. Frequent travel across Japan is required.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct installation, maintenance, repairs, and performance assessments of conveyor systems while adhering to company standards
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary adjustments or part replacements to ensure minimal downtime
Deliver hands-on guidance and maintenance training to customers for improved operational efficiency
Prepare service reports with clear observations and actionable recommendations for customers and internal teams
Manage service coordination and documentation through CRM systems to maintain accurate records
Support in-house product testing, including preparing reports, results summaries, and video documentation
Assemble and dismantle equipment for demonstrations or trade exhibitions and ensure proper transportation and handling
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in technical support or engineering roles involving conveyor systems, automation machinery, or similar industrial equipment
Strong practical troubleshooting and mechanical repair abilities
Willingness to travel nationwide frequently, including occasional weekend or holiday assignments
Proficiency in both Japanese and English for technical communication with customers and internal stakeholders
Capable of working under pressure and managing irregular schedules when needed
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD software
Possession of a valid driver’s license for travel to customer locations
