Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow the assigned product portfolio to achieve or exceed budgeted sales and profitability targets.
Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers through to order confirmation.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and supply agreements to ensure long-term business success.
Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products and services.
Work with the executive team to analyze markets, identify commercial opportunities, and promote existing and new products.
Participate in industry exhibitions and networking events to enhance visibility and identify partnership opportunities.
Prepare and negotiate supply agreements and lead periodic price negotiations in coordination with other departments.
Report regularly on market developments, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
Contribute to commercial evaluations for new product development initiatives.
Address and resolve customer sales or product-related issues promptly and professionally.
Required Education and Skills
Fluent in Japanese and English (spoken and written)
University degree required (science, business, or related field preferred)
Proven experience in pharmaceutical business development and project execution
Strong commercial and business acumen, including knowledge of accounting, cost management, budgeting, and sales forecasting
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
High attention to detail; organized, proactive, and self-motivated
Demonstrated customer service orientation, with the ability to build trust and long-term partnerships
