Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow the assigned product portfolio to achieve or exceed budgeted sales and profitability targets.

  • Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers through to order confirmation.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and supply agreements to ensure long-term business success.

  • Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products and services.

  • Work with the executive team to analyze markets, identify commercial opportunities, and promote existing and new products.

  • Participate in industry exhibitions and networking events to enhance visibility and identify partnership opportunities.

  • Prepare and negotiate supply agreements and lead periodic price negotiations in coordination with other departments.

  • Report regularly on market developments, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.

  • Contribute to commercial evaluations for new product development initiatives.

  • Address and resolve customer sales or product-related issues promptly and professionally.

Required Education and Skills

  • Fluent in Japanese and English (spoken and written)

  • University degree required (science, business, or related field preferred)

  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical business development and project execution

  • Strong commercial and business acumen, including knowledge of accounting, cost management, budgeting, and sales forecasting

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

  • High attention to detail; organized, proactive, and self-motivated

  • Demonstrated customer service orientation, with the ability to build trust and long-term partnerships
