HR Business Partner – Luxury & Retail Sector

About the Role
Reporting functionally to the Brand HR team in the global headquarters, and collaborating with regional HR teams in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Singapore, you will play a key role in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and group-wide HR initiatives. This includes leading new graduate recruitment and driving projects in Inclusion & Diversity, Talent Management, and Employee Engagement across multiple brands.

Main Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment activities via multiple channels and media, including onboarding in collaboration with payroll/operations teams

  • Lead new graduate recruitment: on-campus seminars, induction ceremonies, group orientations

  • Utilize recruitment management tools to ensure a smooth hiring process

Employee Relations & HR Operations

  • Advise on HR strategy aligned with organizational and business needs

  • Provide consultation and problem-solving support for managers and employees

  • Address performance, management, and ethical concerns in collaboration with stakeholders

  • Handle employee data administration, including personal info, job changes, and payroll coordination

Group HR Initiatives

  • Partner with HR Managers on Inclusion & Diversity, Talent Management, and Employee Engagement projects

  • Prepare HR reports, documentation, and related administrative work

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of HR-related experience, including 3+ years in recruitment

  • Solid understanding of HR and Japanese labor law

  • Strong communication skills for managing multiple stakeholders

  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a proactive approach to learning and challenges

  • Fluent Japanese and business-level English

  • Experience in retail or luxury brands preferred
