Position: Import and Export Executive
Key Responsibilities
1. Customs Clearance
Prepare and manage all customs documentation in accordance with local laws and regulations.
Coordinate with customs brokers, clearing agents, and government authorities to ensure smooth import and export operations.
Stay updated on changes to customs regulations and communicate updates to relevant internal stakeholders.
2. Inbound and Outbound Logistics
Plan, organize, and oversee inbound shipments from suppliers and regional distribution centers.
Coordinate outbound deliveries to customers, retail outlets, or distributors.
Track shipments to ensure timely arrival and address any transportation or delivery issues promptly.
3. Vendor and Freight Coordination
Communicate with freight forwarders, logistics service providers, and 3PL partners to arrange shipments.
Negotiate freight and transportation rates to achieve efficient and cost-effective logistics operations.
4. Documentation Management
Prepare and verify all shipping-related documents, including invoices, packing lists, and certificates.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all import, export, and domestic logistics transactions in the ERP system.
5. Compliance and Reporting
Ensure all activities comply with import/export regulations, internal procedures, and company policies.
Generate regular logistics and performance reports, identifying issues and recommending process improvements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management.
Prior experience in import/export operations within the food and beverage sector is preferred.
Strong proficiency with logistics software and ERP systems.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with internal and external partners.
Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage but not mandatory.
