Position: Import and Export Executive

Key Responsibilities

1. Customs Clearance

  • Prepare and manage all customs documentation in accordance with local laws and regulations.

  • Coordinate with customs brokers, clearing agents, and government authorities to ensure smooth import and export operations.

  • Stay updated on changes to customs regulations and communicate updates to relevant internal stakeholders.

2. Inbound and Outbound Logistics

  • Plan, organize, and oversee inbound shipments from suppliers and regional distribution centers.

  • Coordinate outbound deliveries to customers, retail outlets, or distributors.

  • Track shipments to ensure timely arrival and address any transportation or delivery issues promptly.

3. Vendor and Freight Coordination

  • Communicate with freight forwarders, logistics service providers, and 3PL partners to arrange shipments.

  • Negotiate freight and transportation rates to achieve efficient and cost-effective logistics operations.

4. Documentation Management

  • Prepare and verify all shipping-related documents, including invoices, packing lists, and certificates.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all import, export, and domestic logistics transactions in the ERP system.

5. Compliance and Reporting

  • Ensure all activities comply with import/export regulations, internal procedures, and company policies.

  • Generate regular logistics and performance reports, identifying issues and recommending process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management.

  • Prior experience in import/export operations within the food and beverage sector is preferred.

  • Strong proficiency with logistics software and ERP systems.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously.

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with internal and external partners.

  • Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage but not mandatory.
