Position Overview
The Merchandiser is responsible for developing and executing seasonal buying strategies and product assortments for assigned categories. This role ensures alignment with both global direction and local market needs while driving sales performance, inventory efficiency, and brand positioning within the luxury market.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement seasonal buying plans and assortment strategies by store format in collaboration with the Global Merchandising team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and both local and global demand.

Oversee merchandise allocation, closely monitor inventory levels and sell-through performance, and identify replenishment opportunities to maximize sales while minimizing inventory risk.

Strategically schedule product launches in accordance with global guidelines, coordinating with Retail, Visual Merchandising (VM), and Store teams to ensure smooth execution and achievement of sell-through targets.

Plan and execute product-driven initiatives and promotional activities such as trunk shows, pop-up stores, and private sales events in partnership with Retail, VM, and PR/Communications teams.

Monitor shipment schedules and collaborate with Logistics and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely product delivery.

Analyze competitor performance, including financial position, market trends, marketing initiatives, and product strategies, and adjust actions accordingly to maintain competitive advantage.

Manage seasonal purchasing for licensed product categories and maintain ongoing communication with external distributors and license partners to ensure proper allocation and inventory levels.

Prepare seasonal product information materials and conduct training sessions for retail staff to enhance product knowledge and sales strategy execution.

Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to establish and maintain local product quality standards in line with brand expectations.
Key Qualifications and Skills

Minimum of five years of merchandising experience within the fashion industry.

Strong understanding of current fashion trends and the luxury market landscape.

Advanced proficiency in PC applications.

Good command of English.
