With an exceptionally low customer churn rate and a strong client base, including listed companies, the organization is expanding its services and actively increasing headcount to meet growing demand.
Team Overview
The recruitment function is divided into three teams: international engineering recruitment, domestic mid-career recruitment, and domestic new graduate recruitment. This position will be part of the domestic mid-career recruitment team. The company operates in a bilingual environment—most clients are Japanese, while many development team members are recruited from overseas—and both Japanese and English are used regularly in daily work.
Role Overview
As a Mid-Career Recruiter and HRBP, you will partner closely with hiring managers to drive recruitment strategies, improve hiring efficiency, and contribute to building a resilient, diverse organization. You will own the end-to-end hiring process for your assigned department, from workforce planning to onboarding, while also identifying and addressing HR needs to support long-term organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with management and department heads to develop workforce plans and monitor hiring progress
Create recruitment strategies, engage with agencies, and build strong partner relationships
Execute direct sourcing and recruitment marketing activities
Define role requirements and design selection processes
Oversee hiring operations from sourcing and pipeline building to offer closing and onboarding (with scheduling support from assistants)
Use ATS data to provide actionable recruitment reports and insights
Support initiatives to improve team engagement in assigned departments
Identify HR needs in your business area and lead internal discussions on solutions, including policy or process improvements
Required Qualifications
Japanese language skills sufficient for candidate meetings and interviews
Comfortable with reading and writing in English
At least 3 years of experience in one or more of the following:
In-house mid-career recruitment or recruitment marketing
HRBP or organizational management consulting
Corporate sales (RA) at a recruitment agency
Mid-career hiring as a recruitment consultant or RPO provider
Front-line business roles such as sales or customer success
Serving as an interviewer in recruitment processes
Employment Details
Type: Full-time
Location: Tokyo headquarters (planned relocation to Shinjuku in April 2027)
Work Style: Primarily on-site, with remote work arrangements varying by department
Hours: 10:00–19:00 (1-hour break), flextime available (core time 10:00–15:00)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and skills
Bonuses: Twice a year (June, December), approx. 2.5 months’ base salary (subject to performance)
Salary Reviews: Annually in January, with additional increases upon promotion
Allowances:
English language allowance: ¥10,000–¥130,000/month (based on company criteria)
Attendance bonus: ¥2,000/day for in-office or in-person client meetings
