Position Summary:
A leading healthcare services organization is seeking a Medical Trainer to support the professional development of Medical Representatives (MRs). This is a hands-on training role within a collaborative team environment, responsible for delivering structured training programs and managing internal certification systems. The focus is on enhancing field performance, especially in oncology-related therapeutic areas.
Key Responsibilities:
This role is part of a broader talent development initiative and includes:
Managing internal certification programs for disease areas such as hematologic and solid tumors, including test creation and training delivery
Conducting pre-deployment training sessions tailored to various therapeutic domains, including oncology and primary care
Delivering select lectures and explaining training content for onboarding programs targeted at career changers from outside the pharmaceutical industry
Additional assignments may be provided based on the candidate’s skills and experience
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher (open to all majors, including science and humanities)
At least 3 years of experience as a trainer in oncology-related product or disease education within the pharmaceutical or CSO sector
Proven ability to design and deliver training programs, including goal-setting and implementation of learning strategies
Skilled in developing training materials using PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing and executing sales skills training programs for MRs
Familiarity with onboarding training for new graduates or mid-career professionals transitioning from other industries
Strong English reading and writing skills (required for reviewing English-language training documents)
Experience in developing assessment tools and analyzing training outcomes
