Role Overview
The Reservation Agent plays a key role in managing reservations and delivering high-quality customer service. The position focuses on three main areas: product knowledge, reservation handling, and daily operational duties.
Key Responsibilities
Product Knowledge
Understands the policies and procedures of the hotel or establishment.
Has thorough knowledge of the facilities and services available.
Is familiar with room types, including rates, layout, features, configurations, and amenities.
Reservation Handling
Proficient in all reservation procedures and systems.
Delivers prompt, courteous, and efficient service consistently.
Adheres to established service standards (e.g., Forbes).
Actively promotes upgrades to optimize occupancy and revenue.
Accurately qualifies reservations based on criteria such as market segmentation.
Responds to reservation inquiries and correspondence within the expected timeframe.
Daily Operations
Carries out daily tasks as outlined by the Reservations Manager and departmental guidelines.
Performs duties with environmental awareness, including reducing waste, recycling, and reusing resources where applicable.
Candidate Profile
Language Requirements
Business-level proficiency in both spoken and written Japanese and English.

Preferred Experience
Prior experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
