Role Overview

As a Performance Consultant, you will work closely with business leaders to address organizational and people-related challenges. Your focus will be on enhancing leadership, sales effectiveness, team dynamics, and employee engagement. This role involves identifying client needs, proposing customized solutions, and building long-term partnerships.

You won’t just be selling training programs—you’ll be facilitating meaningful change and business transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with mid- to senior-level decision-makers to understand their business challenges

  • Offer tailored consulting and development solutions to meet client needs

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients

  • Drive new business development through proactive outreach and networking

  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-impact solutions

  • Contribute to the company’s growth by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing accounts

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven success in consultative B2B sales, especially with mid- to senior-level stakeholders

  • Skilled in prospecting, asking insightful questions, and active listening

  • Strong interpersonal presence with a positive, energetic approach

  • Team-oriented, eager to learn, and open to feedback

  • Experience in selling services such as training, HR solutions, or consulting is a plus

  • A strong professional network in Japan is advantageous

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce is a plus

  • Familiarity with digital networking tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook, or X

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • Fluent in Japanese with strong English communication skills
