Revenue Growth Management Senior Analyst

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Revenue Growth Management (RGM) Senior Analyst to play a key role in driving profitable growth for our Japan business. This position focuses on shaping and managing our RGM framework, using pricing insights, promotional evaluation, and market data to support strong commercial performance. You will partner closely with Sales and Marketing to guide pricing and investment decisions that align with business goals. This is an opportunity to directly influence strategic execution while working with a wide range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Growth Strategy
Lead the development and enhancement of the RGM agenda across Japan to support sustainable net sales growth.
Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to convert strategy into detailed commercial plans.
Promote RGM methodologies across the organization and collaborate with global stakeholders to share best practices.
Establish standardized analytical approaches to evaluate pricing, promotions, and product results across major customers and channels.
2. Business Analysis & Pricing Optimization
Utilize market research (e.g., Intage and retail POS data) to assess both company and competitor performance and generate actionable insights.
Recommend data-based pricing and promotional strategies aligned with global direction and profitability expectations.
Conduct reviews on promotional activities to improve return on investment.
Evaluate price elasticity for key brands to guide strategy and forecast results.
Maintain pricing benchmarks and propose long-range pricing strategies and required adjustments.
Support pricing and promotional planning for new product launches and track performance after introduction.
3. Financial Planning Support
Partner with Finance on core planning activities such as monthly performance reviews and forecast submissions.
Execute analytical projects as needed to support broader commercial decision-making.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
Minimum 5 years of analytical experience in RGM, Finance, or Category/Commercial functions with exposure to commercial decision processes.
Strong understanding of trade dynamics and the connection between brand, commercial, and marketplace strategy.
Advanced analytical capabilities with the ability to convert complex data into clear recommendations.
High proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and modeling skills.
Fluency in Japanese with strong business-level English communication skills.
Ability to work independently, handle ambiguity, and propose clear, well-reasoned solutions.
Preferred Experience
Direct background in Revenue Growth Management.
Experience in a multinational FMCG environment.
Hands-on use of Intage or retailer POS data.
Exposure to BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Python, or R.
