Role Overview
As a Performance Consultant, you will work closely with business leaders to address organizational and people-related challenges. Your focus will be on enhancing leadership, sales effectiveness, team dynamics, and employee engagement. This role involves identifying client needs, proposing customized solutions, and building long-term partnerships.
You won’t just be selling training programs—you’ll be facilitating meaningful change and business transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with mid- to senior-level decision-makers to understand their business challenges
Offer tailored consulting and development solutions to meet client needs
Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients
Drive new business development through proactive outreach and networking
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-impact solutions
Contribute to the company’s growth by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing accounts
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven success in consultative B2B sales, especially with mid- to senior-level stakeholders
Skilled in prospecting, asking insightful questions, and active listening
Strong interpersonal presence with a positive, energetic approach
Team-oriented, eager to learn, and open to feedback
Experience in selling services such as training, HR solutions, or consulting is a plus
A strong professional network in Japan is advantageous
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce is a plus
Familiarity with digital networking tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook, or X
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Fluent in Japanese with strong English communication skills
