A leading global provider of enterprise software solutions for the biopharmaceutical industry is looking for a Mass Spectrometry Data Specialist to join its professional services team in Tokyo. In this role, you will apply your expertise in mass spectrometry data analysis to help develop and deliver customized solutions for biopharma customers using advanced analytical platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the subject matter expert in mass spectrometry data processing and interpretation.
Provide technical support to users, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
Identify and assess customer workflows and data requirements.
Plan and deliver customer training sessions and user enablement activities.
Lead service projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
Partner with sales and pre-sales teams to support customer engagement through demonstrations and scientific discussions.
Gather user feedback and contribute to the development of new workflows or analytical approaches.
Collaborate with internal software development teams to help shape product features based on user needs.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in mass spectrometry, ideally with a focus on protein or biotherapeutic analysis.
Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, or a related discipline.
Strong problem-solving mindset with a passion for customer-focused solutions.
Fluent in Japanese and English, both written and spoken.
Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
