About the Role

The Group Head will lead a unit within the Strategic Agency Division, responsible for building and expanding relationships with major advertising agencies. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to sell advertising solutions, develop long-term strategies, and deliver measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead agency engagement, managing both internal and external stakeholders, long-term account planning, and product adoption.

  • Build and grow trusted partnerships with senior leaders and decision makers within agencies, driving strategies to maximize advertising investment.

  • Identify and prioritize revenue opportunities through consultative, solution-based engagement with agency partners.

  • Translate agencies’ business objectives into tailored media solutions tied to KPIs and growth targets.

  • Create compelling sales propositions informed by market insights, consumer trends, and data.

  • Establish best practices for agency servicing, including relationship management, product education, business reviews, reporting, and analysis.

  • Collaborate with division leadership, cross-functional teams, and agency partners to analyze performance, test strategies, and scale innovative advertising solutions.

  • Contribute to thought leadership and industry innovation through insights and performance-driven solutions.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong background in sales and advertising.

  • Experience in client-facing roles with expertise in digital marketing or digital transformation.

  • Minimum 3 years of team management experience with proven leadership capabilities.

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to balance high-level strategy and hands-on execution.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with agencies, tech partners, and senior stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated success leading complex digital marketing projects with cross-functional collaboration and measurable results.

  • Proficiency in Japanese and English (business level, written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing senior-level client relationships, including influencing C-level decision makers in both Japanese and international business environments.

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments with a strong drive for action and continuous improvement.

  • Experience working in global organizations or collaborating with international teams.
