Responsibilities

  • Develop predictive and evaluation models using machine learning for applications such as asset management optimization, email open-rate prediction, and call center inquiry forecasting

  • Design and enhance data infrastructure to enable cross-departmental data utilization

  • Build analytical databases and implement in-house BI tools

  • Promote a data-driven culture through study sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives

  • Conduct multi-faceted analyses using internal and external data sources

  • Support front-office decision-making and propose new services based on analytical insights

Stakeholders

  • Collaborate with internal departments including Sales (retail and corporate), Account Management, and Customer Support/Call Center teams

  • Partner with affiliated group companies to advance data utilization initiatives

Mandatory Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience building and operating machine learning models

  • 5+ years of experience developing ML models using Python

  • Experience processing large-scale datasets (hundreds of millions of records across multiple tables)

  • Experience developing ML models in a Linux environment

  • Strong knowledge of statistics (e.g., probability, normal distribution, Bayesian inference, multiple regression)

  • Solid mathematical foundation (e.g., calculus, linear algebra)

  • Experience designing solutions on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts

  • Logical and structured decision-making capability

  • Strong interest in emerging technologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the banking industry (data analysis, marketing, system development, etc.)

  • Experience developing large-scale web applications

  • Experience analyzing web access data

  • Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Data Portal, etc.)

  • Experience building models using AutoML tools

  • Experience with large-scale data processing frameworks (ETL / ELT)
