Overview
The Sales Representative is responsible for developing specialized product knowledge and sales capabilities while driving business performance through high levels of customer satisfaction.
This is a technical sales role that combines commercial responsibilities with basic technical support for analytical instrumentation. A structured training program is available, enabling individuals to build the required expertise regardless of prior industry background.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver product information and conduct sales activities to physicians, clinical laboratory technologists, clinical engineers, and distribution partners across university hospitals, public hospitals, and major private healthcare institutions
Collaborate closely with the broader team to support existing accounts, identify new business opportunities, and achieve revenue targets
Develop and present solution-based proposals that address customer challenges
Own and manage the assigned territory, including sales planning and execution of strategic initiatives
Partner with marketing to plan and deliver events such as seminars, training sessions, and conference exhibitions
Provide post-sales support, including handling product or data inquiries and performing first-line troubleshooting or repair coordination
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher
At least 1 year of sales experience and a valid driver’s license (experience in the medical field is advantageous)
Language Requirements
Japanese: Native level
English: Not required
Preferred Experience
Sales experience within a manufacturing environment
Commercial experience in the medical or healthcare sector (MR background also welcomed)
