This division specializes in AI, cloud computing, data platforms, and core digital transformation technologies. The team delivers comprehensive digital transformation solutions, covering strategy and advisory services, system development, and long-term operations and maintenance.

The organization follows an AI-first philosophy and encourages collaboration across business units, as well as cross-functional skill development. This structure enables the delivery of large-scale enterprise systems that embed AI into business operations and corporate IT environments.

Project Overview

This role supports a large, long-term engagement with a major enterprise client in the construction industry. The project focuses on maintaining and operating enterprise data infrastructure and multiple business applications, while expanding AI adoption—particularly in the area of generative AI.

You will collaborate directly with client stakeholders to define effective AI use strategies and design AI-driven solutions. The responsibilities span the entire lifecycle, including proof of concept, deployment, enhancement, and ongoing operational support.

Project Structure

  • Data Infrastructure Operations Team: 20 members (4 domestic, 16 offshore)

  • Application Operations and Maintenance Team: 13 members (5 domestic, 8 offshore)

  • AI Enablement Team: 4 members (2 domestic, 2 offshore)

Including related support functions, the overall project team consists of approximately 50 members.

Key Responsibilities

AI Model Development

  • Design and develop AI, machine learning, and deep learning models

  • Conduct data preprocessing tasks such as cleansing and feature engineering

  • Train, evaluate, and optimize models to enhance accuracy and performance

Implementation and System Integration

  • Integrate AI models into enterprise applications and services

  • Utilize cloud-based services and APIs, primarily within AWS environments

  • Improve inference efficiency and ensure scalability of deployed solutions

Operations and Lifecycle Management

  • Continuously monitor model performance and accuracy

  • Retrain and update models using newly available data

  • Implement MLOps practices to manage the full model lifecycle

Research and Technology Selection

  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and tools

  • Select optimal algorithms and architectures based on business requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Programming experience in Python, Java, or similar languages

  • Foundational knowledge of generative AI, machine learning, and deep learning

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Solid task prioritization and time management skills

  • Native-level proficiency in Japanese

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing and deploying systems on AWS

Language Requirements

  • English reading and writing proficiency required

  • Business-level English preferred

  • English primarily used for communication with offshore teams

Working Structure

Professional discretionary work system
Deemed working hours: 8 hours per day
Standard reference hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Compensation

  • Salary determined according to experience and skills, based on internal guidelines

  • Discretionary work allowance: ¥60,000–¥80,000 per month

  • Overtime compensation: Not provided under discretionary system

  • If assigned to a time-managed grade, overtime pay applies and discretionary allowance does not

  • Salary increases: As applicable

  • Bonus: Available

  • Annual paid leave: 10 days in the first year (prorated depending on start date)
