[RESPONSIBILITIES]
- Grow retail revenue for all product lines with a focus on peripherals
- Improve & grow relationships with retail buyers in Japan
- Improve global HQ understanding of the Japan retail market regarding competitor activities, market share, opportunity identification & best practices
- Work with channel partners to build up the gaming retail presence
- Manage retail margin structure to optimize sell out & maintain margin
- Manage retail inventory levels
- Increase reach: using professional contacts & working with distributors to develop & grow the retail channel to include more retailers/branches
- Drive sell through: develop sales strategies & work with retail buyers and distributors to execute sell through projects/programs
- Maintain regular contact with retail buyers to develop inter-company relationships
- Work with key retailers on demand gen and inclusion in retail promotions
- Market info: Survey the competitor information in the channel including marketing activities, price comparison, promotions, share with top retailers, channel structure & inventory/supply details
- Product training: educate channel partners about product range & selling points
- Retail displays. Work with distributor marketing teams to: Improve & manage displays across all retailers
- Sales tools/content: work with Corsair marketing, distributors and agencies to manage & oversee the quality of Japanese content for use in online and offline retail
- Channel margin structure management using available tools (IR, VIR, BER, FI)
- Channel Inventory control: manage inventory of key retailers with a working in-store SKU selection strategy, ample supply of high run rate SKUs, new SKU availability, strategies to sell out slow moving inventory
- Retail price: daily analysis of channel pricing, competitiveness, & promo activity
- Regular reporting & communication with APAC office via tele-conference/calls
[REQUIREMENTS]
- At least 5 years working experience in the Japanese retail industry
- VERY hands on and happy to be "in the field" supporting clients
- Possess good communication and negotiation skills

- Self-driven and motivated
- Strategic thinking and drive Operational Performance to develop Self & Others
- Good Japanese & English/Mandarin Chinese language ability
- Able to travel domestically
