Role Overview
This position supports the merchandising function by managing product assortment strategies, inventory control, and cross-functional coordination to drive sales growth and operational efficiency. The role works closely with global headquarters, internal product teams, and retail partners, and plays a key role in stock optimization, reporting, and execution support across retail and wholesale channels.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and support assortment strategies for new and existing products to drive sales growth and improve inventory efficiency

Monitor inventory levels and conduct stock analysis to ensure optimal availability

Support domestic product deliveries and logistics coordination

Prepare and manage products for events and promotional activities

Handle price updates and support inventory counts and stock takes

Communicate and coordinate with merchandising and product teams at global headquarters

Conduct competitor and market research

Prepare sales reports and performance analysis

Support store renovation projects and new store openings in collaboration with visual merchandising teams

Manage and control wholesale inventory
Required Skills & Experience

3–5 years of experience in merchandising and/or logistics

Business-level English proficiency or higher

Intermediate or advanced PC skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Experience with ERP systems; SAP knowledge is preferred

Experience in the fashion, luxury, or jewelry industry is an advantage

Experience working in a multinational or foreign-owned company is preferred

Employment Conditions

Employment Type: Full-time (with a probation period of six months; compensation and benefits unchanged during probation)

Annual Compensation: Approximately JPY 5 million (paid in 12 installments), determined based on previous salary and experience

Working Hours: 8 hours per day (e.g., 9:30–18:30) with a 60-minute break
-
Holidays: Weekends, national holidays, special leave (e.g., ceremonial leave), year-end and New Year holidays

Paid Leave: 10 days granted after the first seven months, increasing up to a maximum of 20 days
