【JOB RESPONSIBILITIES】

This person will provide support and help maintain the database to enforce risk governance, compliance and set security standards.

  • Manage troubleshooting, monitoring, backup and recovery

  • Be responsible for architecture planning and 24/7 on-call production support

  • Provide clients temporary recovery plans and permanent solution analysis reports

  • Support application release and validate scripts to avoid future problems

  • Refine document management in the team

【REQUIREMENTS】

  • Equal to L2 experience in Infra DBA in either 1) Oracle 2) PostgreSQL or other transferable skills such as Teradata.

  • Must be able to do installation, performance tuning, backup, restoration, migration, troubleshooting

  • Comprehensive knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery options 

  • Ability to perform 24/7 support (working from home is possible)

  • Business-level Japanese (qualifications not requirred but should be above N3)

【GOOD TO HAVE】

  • Extensive experience in UNIX operating systems or physical database

  • Conversational level English

【仕事内容】

担当者は、リスクガバナンス、コンプライアンス、および設定されたセキュリティ基準を実施するために、サポートを提供し、データベースの維持を支援します。

  • トラブルシューティング、モニタリング、バックアップ、リカバリーを管理

  • アーキテクチャ計画と24時間365日のオンコールサポート

  • 顧客への一時的なリカバリープランと恒久的なソリューション分析レポートの提供

  • アプリケーションのリリースをサポートし、将来的な問題を回避するためのスクリプトを検証

  • チーム内のドキュメント管理の改善

【応募資格・条件】

  • Oracle、PostgreSQLまたはTeradataなどのInfra DBAでL2と同等の経験をお持ちの方

  • インストール、パフォーマンスチューニング、バックアップ、リストア、移行、トラブルシューティングができること

  • ハイアベイラビリティ、ディザスタリカバリに関する包括的な知識 

  • 24時間365日のサポートを行うことができること（在宅勤務可）

  • ビジネスレベルの日本語（資格は必須ではありませんが、N3レベル以上であること）
