Role Overview

This role is responsible for leading marketing strategy to accelerate business growth across both the Japanese and U.S. markets. With a deep understanding of the product portfolio, the Head of Marketing will integrate product marketing, growth initiatives, and brand strategy to establish clear market positioning and build a scalable, repeatable global growth engine.

Reporting directly to executive leadership, this position plays a critical role in shaping mid- to long-term growth strategy and driving measurable revenue impact.

Key Responsibilities

1. Global Go-to-Market Leadership

  • Own go-to-market strategy and outcomes in Japan and the U.S.

  • Define target markets, prioritize segments, and guide investment decisions

  • Take accountability for SQL generation, pipeline development, and revenue contribution

  • Partner with the CEO to design and execute mid- to long-term growth strategies

2. Product Marketing & Positioning

  • Clearly define and differentiate the value of each product

  • Design and refine category positioning

  • Develop clear, compelling messaging that enables Sales and Customer Success teams

  • Act as the bridge between product development and market needs

3. Brand & Awareness Strategy

  • Lead brand strategy across Japan and the U.S.

  • Build brand awareness, credibility, and recall in target markets

  • Oversee PR, content, and event strategies

  • Integrate brand-building initiatives with revenue-driven objectives

4. Growth & Acquisition Strategy

  • Design acquisition frameworks across paid, organic, and partner channels

  • Optimize CAC and LTV

  • Establish scalable and repeatable growth models

5. Executive & Organizational Leadership

  • Build, lead, and scale the marketing organization

  • Participate in executive-level discussions and decision-making in English

  • Drive cross-functional leadership across Sales, Product, and Customer Success

Required Experience

Must-Have

  • Experience as a VP, Head of Marketing, or CMO in a B2B SaaS environment

  • Strong hands-on background in product marketing

  • Go-to-market experience in Japan, the U.S., or both

  • Ability to discuss management strategy and business topics fluently in English

  • Japanese proficiency sufficient for internal discussions

  • Proven track record of marketing ownership tied directly to revenue outcomes

Preferred Experience

  • Background in AdTech, security, or adjacent technology domains

  • Experience creating or redefining market categories

  • Exposure to both pre-IPO and post-IPO company stages
