Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive business growth within the digital manufacturing space. The successful candidate will take the lead on identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and working closely with both domestic and international teams to scale operations.
This role provides exposure to global business environments and the chance to engage directly with senior leadership stakeholders. Ideal for someone with a passion for delivering technology-driven engineering solutions to manufacturing clients, this position combines strategic insight with hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Focus on business development in the manufacturing sector, targeting large enterprise clients
Collaborate with global and local teams to craft solution proposals tailored to client needs
Build and manage strong relationships with Japanese manufacturing clients
Develop innovative, tailored value propositions aligned with internal capabilities and market demands
Contribute to the creation and execution of go-to-market strategies for smart manufacturing solutions
Required Experience and Skills:
10+ years of sales or business development experience in the industrial manufacturing domain
Strong knowledge and experience with MES, PLM, IoT, Smart Factory, and digital manufacturing technologies
Familiarity with engineering tools and platforms such as Siemens, Dassault Systèmes, PTC, NEC, or similar
Deep understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and manufacturing transformation initiatives
Proven ability to engage and influence senior executives, including CxO-level stakeholders
Strong communication, negotiation, and documentation skills; capable of developing clear, compelling proposals
Agile and adaptable, able to stay current with fast-evolving technologies and industry trends
Experience in business/IT consulting (preferably at a consulting firm) is a plus
Collaborative mindset with a history of cross-functional and cross-regional teamwork
Comfortable working in a multicultural environment, leveraging global expertise to deliver localized client value
