Position Overview

This role leads business relationships with key customer groups, including wholesalers and retailers. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, overcoming commercial challenges, and developing, negotiating, and executing customer plans to achieve KPIs and drive sustainable, profitable sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of each customer’s business model, strategy, and objectives.

  • Utilize data and market insights to identify opportunities and risks, supporting informed business decisions.

  • Build and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships with wholesalers and retailers.

  • Develop and execute customer business plans covering pricing strategy, product portfolio management, trade terms, promotional activities, and in-store visibility expansion.

  • Plan and lead biannual business reviews and negotiations with customers.

  • Manage a diverse customer base effectively, including accurate demand forecasting.

  • Monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of promotional programs.

  • Allocate rebates and trade investments appropriately to ensure profitable growth.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Planning, Trade Marketing, and other departments to ensure transparency and alignment on performance, opportunities, and future plans.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of account management experience within the FMCG industry, including established networks with wholesalers and retailers.

  • Strong strategic thinking ability and commercial judgment.

  • High level of integrity and professionalism.

  • Results-driven mindset with strong ownership.

  • Ability to build productive internal and external relationships and gain alignment on business proposals with managerial support.

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple objectives and deliver results within defined timelines.

  • Team-oriented with strong conflict management capabilities.

  • Adaptable and resilient in navigating business challenges.

  • Persuasive communication skills, including influencing, active listening, presentation, and written communication abilities.

  • Ability to clearly and concisely present analytical findings using charts, slides, and structured materials.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the premium or super-premium imported spirits industry, including knowledge of trade margins and rebate structures.

  • Experience working in multinational organizations, particularly U.S. or European companies.

  • Business-level English proficiency.
