Italian luxury fashion brand 



  • Overall, in charge of Media Relations/celebrity planning and he/she will have to execute with a focus on the brand for Japan Region

  • Initiate and propose creative media relations and brand marketing ideas / programs based on brand objectives and strategies as well as initiatives suggested by HQ.

  • Execute the programs on time, in full and against budget, as per brand standards, in coordination with HQ and managing third-party agencies if and when required

  • To manage and leverage closely with media, PR, tracking agencies to maximize brand exposure and monitor brand performance conducting bi-annual reviews with all parties.

  • Develop strong relationships with key online and offline media, develop collaborative ideas, pitch new stories, maximize qualitative shooting opportunities, relay global messages and content in the Japanese media, and amplify global news and event opportunities locally

  • Develop strong relationships fashion business influencers - celebrities, socialites, artists, agents, stylists etc – so as to increase the goodwill, create opportunities for the brand and be in touch with the latest

  • Oversees copywriting, design, layout and production of promotional materials, releases, management speeches etc

  • Work in partnership with team on creating and executing PR and retail events in Japan 

  • Works with marketing manager and team on developing brand plan’s strategy and mechanics. Delivers new ideas and development opportunities.



  • Track record in developing and executing qualitative media relations strategies in Japan for luxury brands in fashion 

  • Has developed a network with influential media in Japan, and creatively leveraged that network for superior brand coverage 

  • Experience and ability to create and execute events 

  • Third-party agency management experience 

  • Strong knowledge of Japan market and luxury consumers

  • Minimum 4-5 years experience in luxury brands PR 

  • Event management and execution experience

  • Understanding of the retail function

  • Fluent in Japanese and English
