Main Responsibilities
Drive Regional Marketing Strategy
Use knowledge of the Japan market and customer needs to find growth opportunities.
Adapt global marketing plans into local campaigns that engage key customer groups.
Ensure branding, tone, and messaging are consistent with global guidelines.
Follow and apply central marketing processes and performance standards.
Work closely with global and regional teams to support shared marketing goals.
Execute Marketing Campaigns
Identify local marketing needs with sales and marketing leaders.
Adjust global campaigns for local use—choose the right channels, tactics, and track results.
Plan and manage local marketing activities like ads, webinars, and events with internal teams.
Localize and distribute global marketing materials for the Japan market.
Monitor campaign results and share reports to support business decisions.
Track and report marketing budget use.
Support Sales and Commercial Teams
Deliver marketing tools and training to support the Japan sales team.
Share local competitor insights with the global marketing team.
Help roll out marketing programs for distributors and partners.
Review and provide materials for sales and marketing use.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences (Master’s or PhD preferred).
Marketing experience in life science or genomics industries.
Knowledge of the Japan genomics or life science market.
Experience creating and running marketing campaigns.
Familiar with CRM and marketing tools (e.g., Salesforce).
Experience working with distributors or channel partners.
Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English.
Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Team player, able to work with different departments and external partners.
