Role Summary

The Senior Manager, Recruitment will lead large-scale hiring initiatives across Japan, playing a vital role in supporting business expansion by ensuring the recruitment of frontline talent essential for delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement high-volume hiring strategies for roles such as field sales, account management, and delivery operations.

  • Collaborate with business leaders to anticipate staffing needs and align recruitment plans with organizational growth objectives.

  • Optimize sourcing channels, recruitment events, and digital outreach to attract suitable candidates at scale.

  • Lead and manage a team of recruiters and coordinators focused on operational and seminar-based hiring.

  • Track recruitment funnel metrics and hiring speed, introducing process improvements to enhance efficiency.

  • Ensure all hiring practices comply with local labor regulations and internal standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in high-volume recruitment, preferably in fast-paced sectors such as logistics, retail, delivery services, or staffing.

  • Proven ability to design and execute scalable hiring strategies across multiple regions, including sourcing and candidate conversion.

  • Experience in leading and developing recruitment teams with a focus on operational excellence and speed.

  • Strong analytical skills, with hands-on experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment dashboards, and performance metrics.

  • Demonstrated success in partnering with business leaders to align hiring strategies with evolving business needs.

  • Familiarity with seminar-style and event-driven hiring approaches, including coordination of large-scale recruitment events and digital campaigns.

  • In-depth understanding of Japan’s labor market, legal compliance, and cultural hiring norms.

  • Fluency in Japanese and business-level proficiency in English for cross-functional and international collaboration.
