Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced professional to manage the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) components of construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, solid project management skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with design teams, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as the key point of contact for all MEP-related project activities, facilitating communication among stakeholders.

  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initial planning and design through execution and final handover.

  • Conduct feasibility studies and design evaluations to ensure compliance with performance, cost, and regulatory standards.

  • Develop detailed MEP design documentation, including specifications and drawings, in accordance with industry codes and best practices.

  • Manage procurement of MEP-related equipment and materials.

  • Coordinate installation of MEP systems, ensuring proper integration with other building elements.

  • Perform site inspections and participate in project meetings to monitor progress and address technical issues.

  • Review and approve contractor submissions, including shop drawings and change orders.

  • Ensure quality control and safety standards are maintained throughout the project.

  • Maintain accurate project records, including schedules, budgets, and reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

  • Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.

  • At least 5 years of experience in MEP consulting or project management, ideally within commercial, residential, or industrial sectors.

  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, or similar tools.

  • Demonstrated success in managing projects within budget and schedule constraints.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Professional certifications such as PE (Professional Engineer) or PMP (Project Management Professional) are advantageous.
