-Management of technical inquiries from customers until solution proposals

-Engineering services sales to create a recurring revenue stream

-Machine/system installation and commissioning, and supervision thereof (including that of distributor teams)

-Distributor development: from technical evaluation of candidate companies to continuous training of distributor teams

-Organization of technical trainings and assistance in industry and private exhibitions and events

-Research and analysis of market, competition from a technical standpoint

-Travel: extensive within Japan; occasionally overseas, including to German and Asian hub (Singapore) headquarters 


-10+ years of experience in factory automation, material handling, or packaging or logistics industry

-Hands-on experience with PLC programming and FA equipment control

-Track record of successfully formulating solutions in customer quotations and securing technical buy-in

-Leading or assistance role in installation and commissioning of robots, packaging, strapping or other machines in

-automated production lines, and experience with developing technical staff at distributors are also definite advantages

-Graduate from engineering university or college: electrical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent engineering degree

-Competent knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD)

-Native-level Japanese, business-level English
