Solution Architect – AI-Driven Learning & Organizational Performance

Location

Tokyo or Osaka, Japan

Employment Type

Full-time

About the Role

A fast-growing technology company specializing in AI-powered learning solutions is seeking a Solution Architect to lead next-generation performance transformation initiatives.

As traditional corporate training methods prove insufficient in driving measurable business results, this organization promotes a new approach: performance-based learning, integrating AI technology with learning science to generate tangible behavioral and revenue impact.

This role goes beyond simple tool implementation. You will partner with major enterprises to diagnose executive-level challenges and design end-to-end AI-enabled human capital solutions that drive organizational behavior change and measurable ROI.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Implementation of Performance Learning Systems

  • Translate abstract HR and management challenges into structured, results-oriented learning programs.

  • Build scalable learning frameworks that incorporate input, practice, feedback, and continuous improvement loops.

  • Move clients away from passive training models (e.g., lecture or video-only formats) toward performance-driven systems.

2. Sales Enablement Program Leadership

  • Lead proposal, design, and implementation of AI-powered sales enablement initiatives.

  • Define replicable “high-performing sales models” based on real sales workflows and negotiation scenarios.

  • Design practical programs grounded in learning science principles that ensure sustainable behavioral change.

3. Strategic HR & Organizational Consulting

  • Deliver comprehensive consulting-level proposals comparable to major strategy firms.

  • Diagnose complex business issues and tailor customized solutions rather than offering standardized packages.

  • Combine AI learning platforms, talent assessment tools, and performance systems into a unified, AI-era human capital strategy.

Why This Role Is Attractive
  • Pioneer in AI × Human Capital Development: Build expertise in a rapidly emerging field where professionals with both AI literacy and behavioral science knowledge are rare.

  • Direct Business Impact: Work beyond HR functions and engage deeply with core business metrics such as revenue growth and sales performance.

  • Executive-Level Exposure: Contribute to measurable ROI and strategic decision-making at the management level.

Required Qualifications
  • Approximately 3+ years of experience at a strategy/consulting firm or as a senior consultant in a major HR development organization.

  • Strong understanding of learning effectiveness and KPI measurement.

  • Insight into why traditional training often fails and how to design measurable impact programs.

  • Ability to abstract complex business processes and convert them into structured competency models.

  • Strong interest in applying AI within organizational development.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading enterprise-level sales enablement, organizational transformation, digital transformation (DX), or AI transformation (AX) initiatives.

  • Business-level English proficiency.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Committed to delivering essential, outcome-based value rather than simply completing projects.

  • Focused on real behavioral change and measurable performance impact.

  • Capable of strategic dialogue with clients, challenging non-strategic requests, and guiding stakeholders toward optimal long-term solutions.

  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.

Work Environment & Benefits
  • Flextime system (8-hour workday; core hours 10:00–16:00).

  • Approximately 120 annual holidays (weekends, national holidays, seasonal breaks).

  • Full social insurance coverage.

  • Remote work options available.

  • Side jobs permitted (with approval).

  • Company-provided work devices (laptop, smartphone, etc.).

  • Annual health checkups.

  • Transportation allowance (subject to policy).

  • Internal recognition programs and company events.

Recruitment Process

Document screening → Aptitude assessment → First interview → Second interview → Final interview

  • The aptitude test includes reading comprehension and numerical reasoning exercises.

  • Certain roles may include case-based role-play assessments.

  • The selection process may vary depending on the position.
