About this Position
This role is central to the planning, coordination, and execution of product development from design through to mass production, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and technical quality. Advanced knowledge of brake calipers is required, as well as expertise in validation processes and technical communication with clients. Industry-specific skills can be further developed through structured training and on-the-job learning.

Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and verify design, prototyping, and testing activities to achieve technical approval and customer expectations.
Lead technical discussions with clients while using designated platforms as reference for design and development.
Support business development by collaborating with Platform and Commercial teams.
Manage project development activities in coordination with the Manager.
Collect and integrate technical specifications, ensuring accurate communication with relevant departments.
Track project progress, update plans, analyze variances, and report to internal and external stakeholders.
Lead and manage design review processes.
Conduct project FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and ensure follow-up actions are executed.
Post-production, coordinate product change requests and resolve issues in mass production.

３．営業・プラットフォーム部門と連携し、新規ビジネス機会の獲得を支援
４．マネージャーと連携し、担当範囲のプロジェクト開発活動を管理
５．技術仕様を収集・統合し、関連部門へ正確に共有
６．プロジェクト進捗を管理、計画更新や逸脱分析を実施し、顧客・社内に報告
７．設計レビューを主導・管理し、品質と妥当性を確認
８．FMEAを実施し、得られた対策を確実に実行
９．量産後の製品変更対応および課題解決を主導
Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Project Engineer or in product development within automotive/manufacturing.
Experience collaborating with OEMs is a strong plus.
Basic knowledge of brake calipers.
Understanding of design processes, prototyping, and validation methods.
Knowledge of FMEA concepts and design reviews; hands-on experience preferred.
Ability to read technical drawings; CAD experience is a plus.
Strong ability to capture key client needs, mobilize internal teams, and propose solutions.
Experience working with global teams, with strong cross-cultural and time zone communication skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to fast-changing industry/project environments.
Native-level Japanese and strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
・自動車業界または製造業におけるプロジェクトエンジニア／製品開発経験（3年以上）
・自動車メーカー（OEM）との協業経験があれば尚可
・ブレーキキャリパーに関する基本的知識
・設計プロセス、試作、検証手法の理解
・FMEAや設計レビューの知識、実務経験があれば歓迎
・技術図面を読解できる能力（CAD経験があれば尚可）
・顧客要望を正確に把握し、社内を巻き込んで最適解を提案できる能力
・国際チームとの業務経験（欧州との協業経験があれば尚可）
・柔軟性と適応力を備え、変化の大きい業界やプロジェクトに迅速対応可能
・日本語ネイティブレベル、複数業務を同時に管理できる注意力
