IT Business Analyst Manager

Role Overview

Join our commercial organization as an IT Business Partner, serving as the subject matter expert for technologies including Salesforce.com. This role collaborates with both regional and global IT teams to drive digital transformation across commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities
IT Process Leadership
  • Negotiate and coordinate project priorities with global IT teams when external resources are required

  • Ensure regional employees understand and follow IT processes

  • Implement and continuously enhance IT processes within assigned regions

Business Process Improvement
  • Collaborate with commercial leadership and global colleagues to identify process and technology improvements

  • Improve sales and marketing team effectiveness through smart use of technology

CRM / Salesforce
  • Support the implementation of the regional sales force automation strategy

  • Configure and customize Salesforce; manage data loads, reporting, and dashboards

  • Oversee user management, permissions, and system security

  • Provide technical support and training to end-users

  • Troubleshoot CRM-related technical issues

Project Management
  • Lead regional IT projects and act as the IT representative in commercial business initiatives

  • Collaborate with Project Managers on global commercial and IT initiatives

Analytics & Collaboration
  • Define requirements and manage analytics projects with global IT

  • Promote and enable collaboration technologies across commercial teams and distributor partners

Adoption & Change Management
  • Drive ongoing digital transformation through technology adoption

  • Mentor regional teams and develop change champions

Vendor Management
  • Engage and manage approved IT vendors for commercial technology projects

  • Ensure vendors comply with the company’s standards, policies, and expectations

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline

  • 5+ years of CRM experience with strong Salesforce Sales Cloud expertise

  • Proven end-to-end CRM implementation leadership

  • Strong project management skills, including agile methodology experience

  • Demonstrated ability to solve business challenges through process redesign and technology

  • Experience with commercial business planning processes and systems

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels

  • Experience supervising and developing technical teams

  • Fluency in both English and Japanese

Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce.com certification (any level)

  • Experience working in a multinational or matrixed organization
