Many of our Large Accounts and Brand Team Clients have been Global clients for many years. We have dedicated teams working for Large Clients all over the world, in the US, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC.
In Japan, for most of our Large Accounts and Brand Team Clients work, we have integrated teams which are made up of experts in brand strategy, corporate reputation, digital, creative, financial and capital markets. The accounts, communication landscape and expectations from our clients are rapidly evolving, and we need to ensure we have an integrated team with members working across different sectors and diverse expertise both within and outside of our network to help our clients achieve the best communication that is strategically designed. We are looking for a passionate professional with strong capabilities and experience in managing and growing our client accounts with a strong sense of leadership and team spirit, coaching and managing junior team members, and ability to keep us on track as we keep growing.
The purpose of this role is to manage the day to day works for our Large/mid Global Clients and/or for our Brand Team local clients. You will be required to help manage a fast-moving, dynamic team of around 3-10 people of different expertise and work with the team’s leadership members to ensure day-to-day delivery on brief, on time and on budget. In addition to the day-to-day client teams, you will be also working with our Integrated Solutions teams (strategic planner, creative and digital.. etc.) to help solve a diverse set of challenges for Clients and ensuring the integration between all the different parts of the team is working seamlessly.

[RESPONSIBILITIES]
Day to Day Client Handling:
Serving as the daily client contact and straddling teams across the organisation.
Facilitate integration of teams as well as management of the external business partners when necessary.
Ability to provide strategic thinking to the team and be a consultant for the client.
Excellent presentation skills to be able to take a lead role in presenting seasonal and project plans to clients.
Earning the trust of clients to deliver day to day work as well as providing proactive counsel on new approaches or ideas that will help meet client’s broader objectives.
Developing media strategies and running end to end integrated campaigns:
Working collaboratively alongside client leads, creative and digital teams to plan projects and respond to briefs
Playing a key role in the research, planning and development of campaigns and driving these forward
An ability to segment stories by angles for specialist verticals and journalist beats
Practical and solid understanding of the earned, owned, paid and social media space and how to incorporate these channels into client plans for holistic communications programs
Pitching ideas convincingly to media, clients and colleagues
Lead point of day to day contact for PR and communications counsel (across client organizations)
Managing workback plans and project timelines and budget/cost management.
Be a core member of the team that owns the client communication by managing reactive media enquiries and escalating issues as and when required. This will also include occasional weekend support for clients.
Liaison with other group offices around the world.

A keen eye for an earned media story with legs across news, consumer, online and digital spheres
Proven track record in prioritizing workload as well as supporting junior team members
Ability to work in a matrix structure, and prioritize deliverables
Ability to balance ‘quick hits’ and longer term strategy and understanding the difference
Team player, collaborative, non-hierarchical with experience coaching junior members of the team
Ability to manage both up and down and take overall responsibility of day to day client deliverables
Experience of integrating with different practices / teams on cross-business work, ability to work collaboratively with a variety of people to meet client expectations
Interest in current affairs, news, international business, and consumes media in all forms
