【JOB RESPONSIBILITIES】
Business partnering with Japan local operations teams and at times, work closely with
APAC global sourcing teams in China (NTC) and US with support from Japan BP&A
lead and Finance Director and contribute to productivity savings.
On monthly basis, prepare journals specific to Japan O&R (and at times Food/Home &
Appliance) and analyze cost of goods vs targets and versus PY. Journals will include
export business out of Japan.
On monthly basis, prepare journals specific to Japan O&R and analyze working capital
(inventory & AP) vs targets and versus PY.
Work closely with Japan operation team and Japan BP&A lead to ensure accurate
forecasting and budgeting on cost of goods, inventory and AP. Forecasting will include
outlook of foreign currency cash needs.
On annual basis, build annual costing for O&R and Food/Home & Appliance divisions
and communicate to Food APAC HQ (Europe) on monthly differed schedule.
Provide support and other project works to our Food Division and Home & Appliances
Division
【REQUIREMENTS】
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years experience in BP&A role or accounting experience (Boki 2kyu or
above).
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong analytical skills demonstrating the ability to get the root cause of an issue
A high level of attention to detail
Flexible with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
Initiative and Problem Solving dexterity.
SAP/Bex/HFM experience
Experience in Accounts Payable and balance sheet inventory bookings
