🔹 Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy & Positioning: Define and execute the FootJoy Japan brand strategy in alignment with global positioning as a premium performance brand.

  • Consumer Engagement: Build lasting relationships with the target golfer audience through impactful, brand-driven initiatives that foster loyalty.

  • Go-to-Market Leadership: Develop and implement premium product and market-entry strategies in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.

  • Digital & Brand Marketing: Lead modern marketing efforts to build brand connection through advertising, promotions, and digital engagement.

  • Business Growth: Oversee product category expansion, ensuring sustainable and profitable performance.

  • Cross-Functional Team Management: Manage and inspire a multi-functional team spanning Sales, Marketing, Product, and DTC to ensure alignment and operational excellence.

  • Operational Partnership: Collaborate closely with Finance and Operations to optimize product availability, inventory control, and sales enablement.

  • Global & Local Alignment: Act as a key bridge between FootJoy Japan and global leadership, providing strategic input and local market insight.

  • Executive Leadership: Serve on the Japan Operating Committee, influencing broader business strategy and driving cross-functional collaboration.

  • Team Development: Foster a high-performing culture by mentoring and developing team members through forward-thinking leadership.

  • Cultural Leadership: Promote and embody Acushnet’s Mission, Vision, and Values, creating a professional, collaborative, and improvement-oriented environment.

 

🔹 Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in brand, product, marketing, or sales leadership, ideally within the golf or sporting goods industry

  • Proven ability to manage brand P&L and drive measurable business growth

  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities with a track record of inspiring performance

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, solutions-focused mindset

  • Highly self-motivated and committed to continuous professional growth
