Sales Manager

Location: Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly driven Sales Manager to lead revenue growth through proactive sales activities across corporate clients, travel agencies, and key accounts. This role focuses on new business development, strengthening long-term relationships, and positioning the hotel as a top luxury destination in the Hokkaido market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet room revenue and overall hotel targets

  • Identify, solicit, and secure new corporate, leisure, and agency accounts

  • Manage and expand existing client relationships to maximize repeat business

  • Conduct sales calls, client meetings, and on‑site inspections

  • Create tailored proposals, contracts, and presentations

  • Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team and internal departments to align on hotel strategy

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to uncover opportunities

  • Participate in sales events, trade shows, and networking activities

  • Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports according to brand standards

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in hotel sales, hospitality sales, or B2B sales

    Luxury or international hotel experience preferred

  • Strong understanding of corporate, leisure, and travel trade sales channels

  • Proven ability to build and sustain long‑term client relationships

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Ability to work independently while supporting a highly collaborative sales team

  • Business-level Japanese required; English proficiency strongly preferred
