The Senior HRBP will work closely with business leaders, report to the Japan HR Head, and support them in promoting HR initiatives in line with organizational strategy. This position will primarily be responsible for participating in and leading HR-related projects across countries and functions, running the performance cycle, and implementing talent management.
Main business activities
Business Partnership:
He advises business leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and HR policies.
Project Support:
Participate in HR-related projects across multiple countries and functions, supporting the director in driving implementation.
Performance Management:
Responsible for running annual reviews and performance cycles, facilitating goal setting and feedback processes.
Talent Management:
Implement succession planning and employee engagement initiatives to support leadership development.
Policy and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal company policies.
Global Collaboration:
Collaborate with global HR teams and business units to share and implement best practices.
Deep understanding of legal requirements regarding labor management and ensuring compliance
Liaise with legal and HR compliance teams as needed
Eligibility
Basic Qualifications
More than 7 years of experience in the HR field, experience in talent management, recruitment manager, etc. is also welcome
Experience in managing performance cycles and talent management, or working as a People Manager
Knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills
Experience of being flexible and taking risks rather than being conservative
Native Japanese, business level English required (skills in other languages preferred)
