【Role Overview – Account Representative】
As an Account Representative, you will be the main point of contact between the company and its customers in a specific territory, customer group, or product/service area. Your focus will be to retain existing clients and drive new business. Success in this role means maximizing revenue through effective sales strategies and account growth.
You’ll gain core sales knowledge and skills through a combination of formal training and on-the-job experience.
【Key Responsibilities】
Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and potential customers to ensure renewals and secure new sales within your assigned area or product/service line.
Conduct sales through a mix of phone and in-person meetings.
Identify customer challenges and goals, then propose solutions aligned with their needs. Clearly communicate the value of their products using data, success metrics, and differentiators.
Create strategic account plans for existing clients, highlighting growth opportunities.
Research and identify new customer leads or untapped potential within current accounts.
Prepare compelling written proposals and quotations.
Collaborate with marketing, sales leadership, legal, accounting, and technical teams.
Provide accurate forecasts for both new and renewal revenue.
Represent them at trade shows, conventions, and client seminars to generate leads and boost engagement.
【Requirements】
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, technical, or related fields.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of proven sales success.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Travel Requirement: Up to 50%.
【Preferred Qualifications】
Fluent in English and the local language of the assigned region.
Familiarity with their products, pricing models, and services.
Understanding of the local market, key customer segments, or product lines.
