About the Role / ポジションについて
The Coordinating Nurse will support healthcare service delivery for US Government Civilians working under the Department of Defense (DoD) in Japan. This role ensures patients receive proper medical referrals, case coordination, and continuous management in line with global medical standards.
コーディネーティングナースは、日本に駐在する米国国防総省（DoD）関連の米国政府職員に対する医療サービス提供をサポートします。患者が適切な医療紹介、ケースコーディネーション、継続的なマネジメントを受けられるよう、国際基準に基づいた医療支援を行います。
Key Responsibilities / 主な業務内容
Handle medical assistance calls and collect case information to support appropriate referrals.
医療支援の問い合わせ対応、ケース情報収集を行い、適切な医療機関への紹介をサポート。Provide case direction, medical due diligence, and monitor ongoing treatments.
ケース管理の方向性を決定し、医学的な精査を行い、治療の適切性を継続的に確認。Refer patients to suitable facilities, specialists, or providers.
患者を適切な医療機関、専門医、提供者へ紹介。Prepare reports and documentation for case management and insurance decisions.
ケースマネジメントや保険判断に必要なレポートや文書を作成。Communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance parties on treatment progress.
患者、医療機関、保険関連者と治療経過について連絡・調整。Escalate complex or high-priority cases according to established protocols.
複雑または重要なケースを規定に基づき上位へエスカレーション。Gather and update information on medical providers, and participate in site surveys and audits.
医療機関に関する情報収集・更新、施設調査や監査への参加。Adhere to policies, procedures, and compliance standards while supporting workplace safety.
規程・手順・コンプライアンス基準を遵守し、職場の安全確保に貢献。Participate in weekend duty rotation and occasional local/international travel for case support.
週末当番勤務や、必要に応じた国内外の出張（医療搬送や臨床支援）に対応。

Skills & Knowledge / スキル・知識
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making ability.
優れた臨床評価力と意思決定力。Leadership with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
チーム志向で協調性のあるリーダーシップ。Proficiency in MS Office and Windows applications.
MS OfficeおよびWindowsアプリケーションの操作スキル。Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
優れた文章力・コミュニケーション能力。High cultural awareness and patient-focused mindset.
高い異文化理解力と患者中心の姿勢。
Experience / 経験
Minimum 3 years in acute care (ICU or ER preferred).
急性期医療（ICUまたはER）の経験3年以上。Medical assistance or case management experience desirable.
医療アシスタンスやケースマネジメント経験があれば尚可。
Qualifications / 資格
Registered Nurse license in Japan.
日本で有効な看護師免許。Advanced specialization in Intensive Care or Emergency Nursing preferred.
集中治療または救急看護の専門資格があれば尚可。
Languages / 言語
Native-level Japanese.
日本語：母国語レベル。Business-level English.
英語：ビジネスレベル。
