Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Project Manager with strong expertise in facilities, construction, electrical power, and HVAC systems.

This role will lead mission-critical data center projects in Japan while collaborating with global stakeholders in an international environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project management for data center new builds, expansions, and refurbishment projects

 

Manage and review facility-related designs and requirements, including:

Building and construction

Electrical systems (power supply, UPS, generators)

HVAC and cooling systems

Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and facility vendors

Control schedule, cost, quality, and risk across all project phases

Act as the main point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders

Communicate effectively with overseas teams and vendors in English

Prepare and manage project documentation in Japanese and English

Required Qualifications

Native-level Japanese proficiency

Business-level English (meetings, emails, documentation)

Proven experience as a Project Manager in data center or large-scale facility projects

Strong technical knowledge of construction, electrical power, and HVAC systems

Experience working with facility vendors, contractors, and design firms

 

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience in data center design, construction, or operations

Relevant certifications (e.g., Architect, Electrical Engineer, Construction Management, PMP, etc.)

Experience in global or cross-border projects

Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills

Compensation

Competitive salary (6m-8.5m), commensurate with experience and skills, flexibility here might be possible based one experience.

 

Working Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday
