Position Overview

The company seeks to maximize the value of its growing data assets and accelerate AI-driven product development. While the current engineering team has strong expertise in computer vision and image analysis, several AI initiatives remain undeveloped due to limited resources.
To strengthen development capabilities, the company is hiring a Data Scientist with hands-on experience in data analysis, modeling, and platform design to advance digital transformation in the livestock sector.
Role Description
As part of the engineering team, you will develop AI-driven solutions that support innovation and operational efficiency in swine farming.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and enhance data analysis platforms
Ensure stable operation and maintenance of data systems
Promote data utilization across departments
Conduct data analysis to address business and operational challenges
Design and build scalable data analysis infrastructure
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have experience in all of the following:
Designing, implementing, and operating machine learning models
Data processing and analysis using Python, R, and SQL
Strong foundation in statistics and data modeling
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn)
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Business-level Japanese language proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with large-scale data processing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, BigQuery)
Experience using cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision (CV)
Experience designing and managing data pipelines (e.g., Airflow, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with agile development methodologies

Annual salary range: 7–12 million JPY
Final compensation will be determined based on experience and current earnings.

Head office located in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, within walking distance of multiple train stations.
