Director, Pharmacology (Oncology)

 

As Manager of the Oncology Pharmacology Group, you will be responsible for formulating

and executing strategic plans for the team, overseeing operations and human resources,

and driving the long-term growth of both the group and the company. While the

responsibilities below outline the core of the role, you will be expected to handle a variety

of additional tasks as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead human resource management for a team of 10–15 members, focusing on talent development, organizational enhancement, and team expansion.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure continued business and growth. Support the sales and marketing teams as a disease area expert and actively promote services to expand both domestic and international networks and acquire new clients.

• Provide project leadership and pharmacology consulting, including mentoring and training team members.

• Manage oncology trial operations effectively, ensuring high customer satisfaction and building a profitable, efficient execution system.

• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies in the oncology space. Lead the introduction of new technologies and foster partnerships to drive service innovation.

 

Required Skills and Experience

Education

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. (MD) in Medicine, Pharmacy, or a related field in Biology

Work Experience / Skills

• 3–4+ years of hands-on experience in drug discovery research within a pharmaceutical company or healthcare-related research organization

• 5+ years of oncology research experience using specialized knowledge

• Demonstrated ability to manage diverse responsibilities efficiently and engage effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
