【JOB RESPONSIBILITIES】
Promote and enhance the company’s engagement with existing clients and attract new potential partners through a pre-planned communication strategy. Contribute to establishing communication channel with local businesses and relevant government agencies to ensure that the interest of the company is being perused. Prepare intuitive market research and intelligence reports to enable effective business decision making. Identify additional business opportunities to secure new markets for the business development team. Propose enhanced training programs and facilitate links between the company and local companies.
Market Research and Intelligence
Support the director, or at times act as a representative of the company at conferences and meetings
Promote products to potential customers and observe the market’s latest technology and business opportunities.
Conduct surveys, studies, and analysis with regards to the political, economic and energy market development and situation, maintain and produce country/companies reports on the existing and new clients on periodical basis, produce monthly micro & macro report on the Oil & Gas sector of the country, and the weekly market intelligence report.
Assist the team by providing relevant data, intelligence, and expertise to enable them to develop effective strategies and facilitate positive decision making.
Links and Training Programs
Support the team in preparing information packs as well as logistical arrangements for delegations from HQ and group companies and also the arrangement of events and conferences.
Follow up on the training programs provided to company employees and ensure they are productive and efficient by continuously adapting them to the company’s corporate strategy.
Country (Japan) Specific
Anticipate research topics and provide ad-hoc reports based on geopolitical events in Japan on the region that may affect the business in Japan.
Keep up-to-date knowledge of Japan's O&G industry including any developments in potential disruptive technologies that could affect Japan’s demand.
Assist UAE Embassy in Japan as well as other UAE government and semi government entities with requests for reports on specific topics.
Propose/ develop enhanced training programs with the Japanese centres like JOGMEC and JCCP, ensure that the company’s delegations are being taken care of and brought up to speed regarding the Japanese market and energy landscapes, establish attachment program for selected employees to be posted in the AMI Japan office for training

【REQUIREMENTS】
Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering disciplines or economics
Experience
in the oil/gas industry
Outstanding communication skills
In depth knowledge of market research
Energy research experience
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Fluent in Japanese and strong English language
ability
