Position: Marketing Manager – Commercial Vehicles
Location: Japan
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement annual marketing plans and budgets for commercial vehicle segments, including light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks, as well as buses.
Define clear brand positioning, messaging, and communication strategies aligned with corporate and regional objectives.
Ensure marketing activities support product roadmaps, sales targets, and market seasonality.
2. Brand and Communication Management
Oversee the creation of marketing assets such as brochures, product videos, digital content, and presentations.
Manage advertising campaigns across print, TV, digital, and outdoor media to ensure brand consistency in tone and visuals.
Collaborate with creative, PR, and media agencies to plan, develop, and deliver campaigns effectively.
3. Channel and Dealer Marketing
Design and manage retail-level marketing programs and point-of-sale materials to support the dealer network.
Coordinate regional marketing events, customer gatherings, and vehicle showcases with channel partners.
Ensure compliance with brand identity and communication standards across all dealer activities.
4. Digital and Event Marketing
Lead digital marketing initiatives including social media, paid search, SEO, and website management.
Plan and execute brand participation in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
Develop online lead generation activities and support CRM programs to track marketing performance and ROI.
5. Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis
Monitor industry trends, competitor launches, pricing movements, and customer preferences.
Produce regular marketing performance dashboards and campaign evaluation reports.
Provide actionable insights to sales and product teams to support business planning and strategy development.
6. Customer Engagement
Lead initiatives such as customer testimonials, experience-based campaigns, and satisfaction surveys.
Collaborate with the sales team to highlight successful customer stories and fleet applications.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Automotive Engineering; MBA preferred.
5–8 years of marketing experience, ideally within the automotive or commercial vehicle sector.
In-depth understanding of B2B marketing and fleet or industrial customer segments.
Proven experience managing marketing agencies, events, and campaigns from concept to execution.
Skills and Competencies
Excellent communication and content development capabilities.
Proficiency in marketing and analytics tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, CRM, and data platforms.
Strong skills in project and budget management.
Strategic and analytical thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
Effective collaborator with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 15–25%).
