We are now seeking a National Sales Manager for Japan to drive business growth and strengthen our presence in the Japanese market.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Client Development

Serve as the primary contact for all key accounts in Japan.

Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, especially with key decision-makers.

Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract closures.

Ensure on-time delivery of products and solutions that meet client expectations.

Identify opportunities to expand existing business and introduce new solutions.

Track and forecast sales performance and ensure timely invoicing.
Business Development

Monitor market trends, competition, and opportunities related to payment systems, IoT, and transit solutions.

Develop go-to-market strategies to strengthen the company’s position in Japan.

Engage prospective clients, prepare proposals and quotations, and follow through to close deals.

Collaborate with internal teams in project management, R&D, and operations to deliver client solutions.

Represent the company at trade shows and industry conferences.
Leadership

Lead and develop one local sales executive, supported by a local technical manager.
Qualifications
Required:
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B sales or business development within the technology sector, serving Japanese clients.

Native-level Japanese and business-level English (TOEIC 700+ or equivalent).

Passion for technology and innovation that improves everyday life.

Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful problem solver.
Preferred:

Sales or business development experience in one or more of the following:

Payment or POS systems

NFC or contactless devices
-
Public transportation fare collection systems

Semiconductors or electronic components

Strong presentation and negotiation skills with strategic thinking ability.
Big Plus:

Technical background in electronics, electrical, or software engineering.

Experience in a multinational or fast-growing tech environment.

Existing network in the payment ecosystem (PNOs such as Visa, Mastercard, JCB, etc., or acquirers/financial institutions).

Familiarity or interest in IoT systems.
