The business is expanding globally and digitally transforming, especially to accommodate the growing e-commerce business. The Japan office is hiring for a new position as IT Application Specialist. This person will have knowledge in business applications and IT systems (preferably Dynamics365 or other ERP packages).
You will play a big part in supporting global business strategy and be involved in global and regional projects.

【JOB RESPONSIBILITIES】
The business is transforming their legacy system to Microsoft365/Dynamics365. You will be part of a long-term transformation and be involved in all aspects, including project management with local and global team, user support, training, system support, and database administration.
Responsibilities include:
Evolve the roadmap replace or enhance legacy applications
Lead maintenance, performance optimisation and implementation of applications and new technology, with best practice methodology
Work with other business units and IT teams both locally and globally on transformation projects
Implement applications, provide user training and support, and conduct analysis as required
Manage and coordinate IT projects and tasks
Collaborate with other partners, vendors, and other external parties to plan and deliver tasks
Support the local IT manager with preparation of budgets and reforecasts, also ensuring documentation is up to date
Serve as a back-up for infrastructure projects and tasks
【REQUIREMENTS】
Native Japanese and business-level English (speaking and writing)
Knowledge of IT business application / ERP system and user support experience
Knowledge of RDBMS and SQL
Experience at reporting / Business Intelligence tools
Experience with projects and working with other business units and partners, vendors or external parties
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
Innovative and technology driven (willingness to learn about new technologies and systems), methodical and process-orientated
Self-starter with the ability to multi-task with minimal supervision
Willing to travel (limited during Covid19)
Interest in IT Infrastructure
【GOOD TO HAVE】
Complete end to end ERP Lifecycle experience, preferably Dynamics365 or DynamicsAX
Experience working in Windows 10 / Office365 environment
Knowledge of Azure / LCS / PaaS / SaaS based technology
Broad knowledge of development tools and software
Service Oriented IT architectures is desirable
Broad knowledge of ESB-based communications
Knowledge of IT infrastructure / network and user support experience
