Field Service Engineer

Role Overview
An engineering-focused organization is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site technical support for equipment and systems.
This role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of both hardware and software at customer facilities, ensuring operational efficiency and high service quality.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Maintenance

Install, upgrade, repair, and maintain equipment in line with internal procedures

Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostic checks on systems

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues at customer sites
Customer Support & Service Delivery

Work closely with customers to meet service level agreements (SLAs)

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely and effective support

Act as the main point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders
Reporting & Performance Monitoring

Prepare and submit service reports and activity updates

Track system performance, including incident trends and root cause analysis

Provide insights and recommendations for performance improvements
Operational Flexibility

Respond to urgent issues such as system downtime or operational disruptions

Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Compliance & Safety

Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment

Obtain and maintain necessary certifications for handling specific systems
Additional Support

Assist with system or data migration from legacy setups to new platforms

Support KPI tracking and reporting during project or contract periods

Requirements
Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferably in engineering or a related technical field)
Experience & Skills

Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, or design of electrical, mechanical, or automated systems

Knowledge of equipment safety standards and operational best practices

Basic to intermediate English communication skills (reading/writing)

Familiarity with PC systems (e.g., Windows-based environments; additional systems knowledge is a plus)

Valid driver’s license
