Java Backend Developer

Work Location : Akihabara

Language Expectation : Bilingual (Japanese & English) Native/N1/N2

Experience: 5–8 years in backend development and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of developers to deliver scalable, high-performance backend solutions.

  • Collaborate with bilingual teams and stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication in Japanese and English.

  • Drive technical design, code reviews, and best practices for backend and API development.

Technical Skills

  • Backend Development: Strong hands-on experience with Java 8, RESTful API design and implementation.

  • Frontend Integration: Working knowledge of JavaScript for seamless integration with backend services.

  • Database Expertise: Proficient in writing complex SQL queries in Oracle Database.

  • API Development: Experience in designing and managing secure, efficient APIs for enterprise applications.

  • Application Servers: Hands-on experience with WebLogic Server for deployment and configuration.

  • Frameworks: Preferably familiar with Spring Boot for building production-grade backend services.

  • Additional Skills: Understanding of performance tuning, scalability, and security best practices.
