【JOB RESPONSIBILITIES】
Reporting to the CEO and the Representative Director Internal Control of the Company and functional lead at the HQ, the successful candidate may have the opportunity to be seconded to Hong Kong Office in the first year.
Oversee all internal legal work
Dual responsibility in compliance function and internal control
Support both secondary securities sales and investment banking team
Keep the management apprised of legal and regulatory updates
Put in place appropriate training
Create new policies and procedures or update existing ones
Collaborate with the Legal teams in Japan, Hong Kong and China
Support the management in oversight of operational matters
Assist the Board of Directors on company secretarial matters

【QUALIFIXATIONS】
A solicitor qualified in Japan; additional qualification in other jurisdictions would be a plus
3 years PQE in financial services is desired
Overseas educational background in law (Common Law)
Overseas work experience in international law firms or financial institutes
Strong compliance background in financial services
