Position: Logistics Supervisor

Role Overview

The Logistics Supervisor will oversee a broad range of logistics operations, focusing on import coordination, shipment processing, and inventory management. This role requires strong operational accuracy, effective communication, and the ability to supervise team activities while supporting daily logistics workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Operations

  • Prepare inbound shipment lists and invoice documentation, and coordinate customs-related processes

  • Update container schedules and provide timely internal communication

  • Create shipping request lists, prepare required documents, and develop shipment forecasts

  • Manage inventory activities including stock transfers, adjustments, cycle counts, and discrepancy investigations

  • Coordinate with transportation vendors and arrange deliveries, including handling service-related issues

  • Process picking and invoicing tasks using ERP systems (such as Microsoft Dynamics AX)

  • Manage purchasing of materials and update product labeling information

  • Verify vendor invoices and collaborate with the finance team

  • Create and share logistics and inventory reports using tools such as Power BI or My Supply Chain

  • Supervise daily operations within the logistics team

  • Support light operational work within the warehouse when needed

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience

  • Practical experience in logistics operations (import handling, shipping, inventory control)

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on inventory management experience, including cycle counting, stock adjustments, discrepancy analysis, and P/L-related tasks

  • Operational knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, D365, Microsoft Dynamics AX, etc.)

  • Strong Excel skills for data management

    • Data entry and formatting, IF functions, table creation and editing

    • SUM/AVERAGE functions, basic calculations, graph creation/editing, VLOOKUP

  • Ability to create presentation materials using PowerPoint

  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders

  • English communication ability at a business level (weekly meetings and email communication with overseas headquarters)

  • Extensive experience in import-related operations

  • Working experience with ERP or logistics systems (system migration experience is an advantage)

  • Hands-on experience in shipping, receiving, stock transfers, and inventory control

  • Experience coordinating and managing transportation

  • Familiarity with managing master data, suppliers, and materials

  • Understanding or experience in annual inventory audits

  • Skill in system operations and report creation

Preferred Skills

  • Experience using tools such as Kintone or SharePoint

  • Experience working with reporting tools such as Power BI

  • Experience coordinating or negotiating with transportation service providers

  • Experience processing invoices and customs documentation

  • Experience transitioning to new business systems
